Mask on — Mask off!
We have been through it, y’all!
(Yes, I’m from the south!)
Who would have thought that one year later that we would still be amidst a global pandemic? In between local and state lockdowns, the reopening and closing of bars, clubs, schools and indoor dining, and the restriction of sporting and music events, we continue to wear a mask; at least I am.
CAN YOU BELIEVE that there are people who refuse to wear a mask in public settings and look at you crazed because you are protecting yourself and others surrounding you?
Nurses are tired. Doctors are tired. Nursing Assistants are tired. Environmental services staff members are tired. Teachers are tired. ALL essential workers are tired. Everyone is tired. I’m tired.
TODAY — Due to the coronavirus, how many new deaths have your state had? How many recent deaths in the US/Globally? How many new outbreaks in hospitals and long-term care facilities? Do you know?
If you don’t know, I urge you to look at the data and encourage your close friends and family to #MaskUp for their protection, those around them, and whom they come in contact with. You’d be amazed.
